2022: Why You Need To Watch Out For Ruger

It’s impossible to compile a list of top songs that rocked our playlists in 2021 and not include  atleast one of Ruger’s incredible tracks.

From One Shirt to Ruger, Bounce and to Dior, it’s been back to back hits for the shinning star. Michael Adebayo, popularly known as Ruger stormed the music scene in 2021 with ‘One Shirt’ featuring his boss, D’Prince and label mate, Rema.

Then, many knew not what the young talented singer has in store. But now, he has proved his worth. Infact, it seems as though we are not ready for what Ruger has to offer especially in 2022. And here is why we need to watch out for him this year.

In an industry with constant flux, saturated with slow of similar sounds, Ruger has found his unique style.  He’s one of the fastest rising acts, bringing a refreshing twist to the Nigeria’s music scene with his expressive artistry.

Noteworthy, Ruger has released two excellent extended play [EP], ‘Pandemics and ‘Second Wave’. A fit that solidifies his position as one of the best breakout artist in 2021. This also put him on the top list of artists to watch out for in 2022.

His first EP, Pandemic is a  testament to the fact that Ruger’s songs is one with an almost immediate impact. Pandemic was received with lots of positive reviews and so is his sophomore EP, ‘Second Wave’ which houses four fascinating tracks.

Considering how well Ruger’s projects has been doing even in the global scene, it is obvious that he has all it takes to soar high.

There’s no limiting factor for him. He has the talent, capacity and right management, Jonzing World to fly his music in 2022.
